Delaney & Preston March 2022

Rustic Grace Estate was thrilled to host the wedding of Delaney & Preston! Each and every wedding is so special to us, but we want to share a little more about what made Delaney and Preston’s love story uniquely theirs.

Delaney and Preston met on the dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel. After they talked for a few days, they decided to, in her words, “you guessed it:” go for coffee to get to know each other better! Delaney says that she remembers how easy it was to talk to Preston and that they talked for over three hours during their first date! They found that they had a lot in common. Preston told Delaney about a class he was enjoying taking at his church, and Delaney talked about her counseling work and what led her to the field. To top it all off, they laughed a lot!

Fast forward two years and they have continued to laugh as they’ve grown to love each other more deeply. Delaney notes that Preston has, “the indescribable capacity to make me laugh and joyful even on really hard days.” The Covid-19 pandemic brought them closer together and it’s when Delaney says they “really fell in love.” They had a lot of time to relax together and when they weren’t relaxing, they supported each other by applying for jobs together. “Sequence in the park” is a favorite outing for them, and the time they had away from work allowed them lots of time to go on their favorite date activity, bringing them even closer together. This is such a special date for them that when Preston proposed he planned a day re-visiting all of their favorite dates including, “Sequence in the park.” Preston made it even more special by proposing at the beginning of the day so they could enjoy their walk down memory lane engaged!

Delaney attended a wedding at Rustic Grace Estate a few years before she met Preston. She thought to herself, “I want to get married here!” She was “just blown away by the gorgeous scenery, the beautiful chapel, and the fun reception space.” She would recommend our beautiful venue to others and says everyone complimented the beautiful venue the most out of any aspect of their whole wedding!

As you can see from their glowing faces, it was hard for Delaney to choose her favorite part of their wedding day. Her favorite moments from their special day are “sweet moments” during their first look pictures and gathering with friends and family. She says that “our ceremony was really special as we were able to look back and make eye contact with all of our loved ones while also looking out the back windows at the gorgeous green fields and pretty lake!” Talk about magical!

Delaney was thrilled with her wedding day at Rustic Grace Estate! One tip she would leave for future brides is to find a fantastic wedding planner to make your wedding dreams come true!
