Send-off Ideas!

We know how difficult it can be to pick the perfect send-off item for the end of your wedding day! What looks best in photos? What is most affordable? What won’t leave a mess behind? Well, we are here to help! Below are some photos of our absolute favorite send-offs at Rustic Grace Estate. Take a look and see what will work best for your wedding day!

Bubbles – Not only are bubbles classic for a wedding send-off, but they show up so well in photos and are so easy. There is no prep time. Your guests just grab the bottle, open it up, and start blowing bubbles! We have even had several couples choose to use a bubble machine in order to create a TON of bubbles. And the best thing? No clean up whatsoever! The little ones can even take their leftover bubbles home for more fun after the wedding.

Fiber optic wands/glowsticks – Looking for something bright and fun for send-off? Glowsticks or fiber optic wands are the way to go! Once again, they are SO easy. It’s also fun to start handing them out just a little bit early so that everyone can have them on the dance floor for the last couple of songs. Somehow, glow sticks make everything more exciting!

Ribbon wands – These are such a cute idea for a wedding send-off!! The great thing about ribbon wands is that they can be customized to match the colors and style of your wedding day. Whether you make them on your own or order them off of Etsy, they look adorable in photos and are a fun thing for your guests (especially the young ones) to take home and remember the day!

American flags – We have seen this a handful of times, and think it’s such a great idea. Whether it’s the fourth of July, a military couple, or just a couple that loves America, flags work wonderfully for a send-off! They are inexpensive and easy to find, and so simple to hand out and prepare for the end of the night. Once again, this is definitely something your guests can take home with them and even use again in the future!

Dried lavender – Remember the days of throwing birdseed and rice?? Not only are those messy, but they can also be bad for the environment! If you are wanting your guests to throw something during your wedding send-off, dried lavender is PERFECT for this purpose. It’s easy to throw, you don’t have to clean it up, and it smells SO good!

Light sabers – Whether you’re a Star Wars fan or not, light sabers are ALWAYS fun! One of the great things about these are that you don’t have to worry about any weather-related issues. If it’s raining outside, this is something you can do indoors and photos still look awesome! Kids LOVE them and so do adults. We love unique and fun send-off ideas like this!

I hope these fun send-offs give you some ideas for your own wedding! Have fun planning!!
