With all of the changes in the world over the last few months, we know the stress and worry that engaged couples have been dealing with. How do we have a great time and celebrate while also taking care of others? What can we do to ensure a fun, safe, and successful wedding? We want you to know that your wedding day is still going to be beautiful and so very special, and it is possible to make that happen in a way that has others’ best interests at heart. We are here to offer a few ideas and resources, and to inform you of some updates that we have added to Rustic Grace Estate to help in this effort. We hope this will be beneficial for you as you continue to get ready for your special day!
Built-In Buffet Guard
In order to keep everything safe and healthy for your buffet, we have added this new guard to the front. Because all food must be served through servers now rather than having a self-serve buffet, this allows your guests to start at the left end, tell the servers what they would like as they make their way down the line, and then they will be handed their plate full of food at the end and can make their way back to their seats! This has been working really well at weddings so far and we also made sure that it matched the look of the barn and silos so that it won’t take anything away from your beautiful decorations.
Hand Sanitizing Stations
In addition to the buffet guard, we have also added hand-sanitizing stations! In the silos and barn, we have one by the buffet area, one in the hallway leading to the restrooms, and one right inside the door as you walk in. In the chapel, we have one right inside the front doors for your guests to use as they arrive. We will keep these stocked up throughout the day so that everyone can sanitize as much as they would like! We will also make sure that the bathrooms have plenty of soap and paper towels, plus we will sanitize them throughout the wedding day.
This is one of our favorite new additions! We have added these beautiful wooden benches around the barn and silos. This is a great way to encourage your guests to spread out and enjoy the fresh air outside. The deck overlooks our 25 acres, including the lake and longhorns, and has a great view of our fountain that lights up when the sun sets. There is also lighting on the railing around the deck and, of course, the gorgeous string lights above the benches that are in front of the barn. We think these benches are really going to add to the ambiance of your wedding!
We are highly encouraging our couples to consider seating charts for their upcoming weddings. Not only will they help you in planning your table arrangement, but they will also make your guests feel more comfortable knowing that they will be seated with their household or group AND you can make them look really cute! We actually created a whole blog post dedicated to seating charts in an effort to help our couples out. They can be as simple or as intricate as you would like!
We sincerely hope that this blog post is beneficial for you and that you are able to get some ideas or, at the very least, feel a little bit of relief knowing that steps are being taken to ensure that your special day creates a safe environment for you and your loved ones. Our commitment to giving you a beautiful and happy wedding day remains the same, and that is at the very heart of what we do at Rustic Grace Estate! Don’t hesitate to email us if you have any questions or if you need any help or advice. We can’t wait to celebrate with each and every one of you!
